Georgie Crichton

Clinical Psychologist

After completing her PhD at the University of South Australia in 2012, Georgie spent a couple of years undertaking psychology/ nutrition/ cardiovascular research at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. Upon her return, Georgie commenced work at the Kensington Park Medical Practice with Dr Brian Symon, helping parents to improve the sleep, feeding or behaviour of their babies or young children.

Georgie completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2018 (University of Adelaide), and has been working in private practice since.

She has particular interest in:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Promotion of physical health to assist mental health
  • Relationship issues
  • Stress management
  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
  • Adolescent mental health (including influences of social media, gaming and friendship issues)
  • Antenatal and postnatal mental health
  • Baby/child sleep and feeding problems

 

 

Outside of work, Georgie is busy enjoying time with her own children, travelling, and keeping fit.
